Frequently Asked Pre-Test Information Questions

WHAT ARE THE TEST DATES?

  • The Archdiocese of New York is Friday, November 02, 2018

WHAT ARE THE TEST TIMES?

  • The test begins at 9:00 AM. Students should be at the test site by 8:15 AM.

  • The test ends at approximately 12:00 PM. Actual test time is approximately two hours with time for directions and pauses between subtests. There are no official breaks. (Back to Top)

WHAT ITEMS MUST A STUDENT BRING ON THE DAY OF THE EXAM?

  • Two sharpened Number 2 pencils with erasers, the Admit Card, and identification (Student ID or Library card). (Back to Top)

WHAT ITEMS ARE NOT ALLOWED AT THE TEST SITE?

  • Any type of electronic or battery operated devices, such as calculators, watches, or cells phones. Scratch paper, food, and beverages are also not allowed. (Back to Top)

IS THERE ANY SPECIAL EXTENDED TESTING TIME (ACCOMMODATIONS)?

  • The Archdiocese of New York and the Diocese of Brooklyn/Queens allows extended time accommodations under certain conditions. Eligibility must be approved ahead of time by the appropriate Diocese using the Eligibility Form located in the Student Handbook. The IEP or evaluation form must be submitted with the eligibility form and must state that extended testing time is an approved accommodation in order to qualify. (Back to Top)
